Research
We study coherence. The structure that emerges when oscillatory systems align. We build instruments to put it in your hands.
One structure, many shadows
The same structure keeps surfacing: in the physics of coupled oscillators, in the geometry of frequency ratios, in musical consonance, in the arithmetic of the number line. We encountered it first through sound.
The ancient world mapped it as sacred geometry and harmonic proportion. The Pythagorean Lambdoma, a grid of all musical ratios, is one of the oldest known attempts to chart this structure. Modern physics maps it as spectra and eigenmodes. Mathematics maps it as number theory and dynamical systems. These are different projections of the same thing, a continuity obscured when science and the sacred were split apart. Coherence is how we perceive this unity again.
These are not analogies. The same principles that govern resonance stability in classical mechanics also govern harmonic structure in music and deep patterns in arithmetic. Our research traces this identity across disciplines and builds instruments that make it directly perceptible.

Form Geometry
The shapes coherence produces. Curves, surfaces, and higher-dimensional forms as projections of oscillator states on the torus.
Resonance Dynamical Systems
How oscillatory systems lock, drift, and stabilize. The structure of coupling across scales, from atoms to orbits.
Ratio Number Theory
The arithmetic of frequency relationships. Why simple ratios produce stability and complex ratios produce drift.
Sound Music & Acoustics
Consonance, tuning, and harmonic structure. Where we first encountered coherence, and the most direct way to experience it.
Frequency & Geometry
In oscillatory systems, frequency relationships don't merely describe structure. They generate it. The geometry you observe is a projection, a shadow of oscillator states living in higher-dimensional ratio space. Simple ratios close their orbits and hold their form. Irrational ratios never close. They fill space densely.
You can see this at every scale. Earth and Venus trace a five-petaled rose against the sky over eight years, a natural consequence of their orbital frequency ratio locking near 8:5. The geometry was known to ancient astronomers. The reason that ratio produces that form, and why it holds so stably, is part of what we study.
Irrationality, too, has structure. The golden ratio is not merely irrational. It is the most irrational number, the ratio most resistant to rational approximation. This has a physical signature. Orbits at golden-ratio frequency relationships precess in a characteristic way, neither closing nor filling space the way generic irrationals do. Irrationality is not binary. It is continuous, and it is audible.
Consciousness & Coherence
Frequency is not just something you measure. It is something you perceive and embody. Your body is already a system of coupled oscillators: neural rhythms, cardiac cycles, respiratory phase. Coherence is not abstract to you. You live inside it.
When oscillators align, structure emerges. When they drift, it dissolves. The same dynamic governs atoms and organisms alike. Your nervous system is no exception.
Instruments & Practice
The research didn't produce the instruments. The instruments produced the research. We built a custom synthesizer, saw coherence take shape in real time, and spent years following that perception into the mathematics underneath it. Coherence was visible before it was legible. The instruments came first.
Your screen, your speakers, your voice, your body. You are already an instrument. Toning, breathwork, entrainment. Our software and practices help you tune it.
Our tools render frequency ratios as geometry in real time, synthesize binaural and harmonic fields, and build microtonal tuning systems rooted in the Lambdoma. The instrument and the research share the same foundation.
